Meftal-Spas Tablet contains dicyclomine (an antispasmodic) and mefenamic acid (a non- steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, or NSAID). It is used to relieve abdominal cramps and menstrual pain. It works by relaxing the muscles of the intestines and uterus and by reducing pain and inflammation. Take it with food to lower the chance of stomach upset, at the lowest dose that works for the shortest time. Common side effects include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and stomach discomfort. It should be avoided by people with a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding, severe kidney disease, or an allergy to NSAIDs.

It gives symptomatic relief from period pain and cramps, and treats abdominal pain by relieving spasms in the muscles of the stomach and intestines.
