Cyclopam Tablet combines dicyclomine, an antispasmodic, with paracetamol, a pain reliever and fever reducer. It is used to relieve abdominal cramps and stomach pain by relaxing the muscles of the intestines and reducing pain signals. Take it as prescribed, and avoid taking other medicines that contain paracetamol at the same time. Common side effects include dry mouth, nausea and blurred vision. People with glaucoma, an enlarged prostate or severe liver disease should use it with caution.
Cyclopam Tablet reduces abdominal pain and cramps by relaxing the muscles of the stomach and gut. It also blocks certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever.
It can be taken with or without food in the dose and for the duration your doctor advises, although taking it with food may reduce the chance of an upset stomach. Continue it for as long as your doctor recommends, as stopping too early may bring the symptoms back. Tell your doctor about all the other medicines you take.
Weakness and nervousness may also occur; most side effects are temporary. It can cause sleepiness, so avoid driving or tasks that need concentration until you know how it affects you, and avoid alcohol, which can make the sleepiness worse. Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, or if you are breastfeeding.
