Telma-CT 80/6.25 Tablet is a combination medication used primarily to control high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains Telmisartan, which relaxes and widens blood vessels and Chlorthalidone, a diuretic that increases urine output to lower blood pressure. This combination helps reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes and kidney problems. The medicine is effective over the long term and should be taken regularly as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food but should be avoided before bedtime to prevent frequent urination. Common side effects include dizziness, nausea, diarrhea and headache.
