Betamethasone is a steroid medication that reduces inflammation and itching associated with fungal infections. Canesten S cream, Certosure cream, Clocip B cream, Triben B cream and Zydip C cream also contain beclomethasone and clotrimazole. It is meant for external use only. Candid-B cream should be spread thinly and evenly over the affected area, and it should not be applied to broken or irritated skin.
